Chinese Art Workshop - with Artist Olive Su

This course will provide an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Chinese Painting, especially water ink painting.

Learn how to use the Four Treasures (Chinese brush, ink, colour and rice paper).

Learn a range of subjects like bamboo, narcissus, camellia, water lily, chrysanthemum, bird and panda.

This course will help you create your own painting and learn the wonders of the ancient Chinese art.

The session costs £35 per person and all materials provided.

Previous Workshop (November 2009)

The workshop is designed to teach you how to use Chinese brush, ink, colour and rice paper to paint a range of subjects. At the end of the workshop you will have created your own painting (ideal for a Christmas gift), and have a better understanding of Chinese art.
